I been using the Mary Kay stuff my wife is using now lately and its working great. It is some real thick pink colored stuff in a pink tube its not very manly and its pretty greasy but I admit it is helping when I had no faith in anything at this point.
edit: the tube of MK stuff is: extra emollient night creme. If your wife has some try it you will be amazed I sure am!
My wife is a Mary Kay lady... I am VERY familiar with extra emollient night cream
Do yourself a favor... When your hands are healed, ask your wife if she has a Mary Kay "Satin Hands" set, and ask her if you can try it...
I have one of my own... I typically can only use it at the end of the season when my hands have healed up, but it is AMAZING and it will get all the grease etc out of the skin etc...
I use it about 3-4 times a year when I have no sore spots or when they are so black and grimy nothing else will clean them...
Honest, it really works to clean and soften your hands...
