Cheap $20 a month Stand Alone Unlimited Rural Internet through AT&T Wireless

Loses data signal......internet is gone.

Signal light goes off.

WHEN I have a data light I've seen only 4 bars. You have to go into the unit via browser .

I've powered cycle unit many times. I've done master resets a few times.

WHEN It does this it's a plastic brick.

A reflash might fix it. Dang sure worth a try if zte will provide the info.

A master reset isn't the same.
Zte wouldn't give me the 1.0.1 firmware. Said it's carrier specific.

I'd call (vs chat) and try again. Or chat zte and prove that won't work, THEN call att back.

Neither ATT nor ZTE is (most often) helpful or knowledgeable when contacted by any means. My Mobley also has issues (sometimes loses Internet while both lights stay green, sometimes TV connects but my computer won't).

I'm not surprised. My wife replaced her Samsung Galaxy Light with a ZTE and it had so many strange problems she went back to the Samsung (a new battery resolved the Samsung's rapid battery drain issue - so it was the battery not the phone as it turns out.)

I'm not sweating it and stressing over what can't be fixed. I live (stress free) with what I've been handed.

When it works, it works well. When it doesn't work, fiddling for 15 minutes gets it working again. I have 1.5 Mbs as a backup, so a perfect Mobley is not a requirement for me.

I see it the same way....EXCEPT.....fiddling with it for 15 minutes gets me no where. Last outrage was 2 days long, and when the at&t person did a refresh connect it came back instantly. Problem is I can't do it. It took the call. It's been up solid for 2 days now after that. Unpredictable.

I opened mine up to find the antenna connection. Not sure i found it. Now it wont connect to att.

But near the end of the thread it said there were two antenna connectors and showed a flat antenna with two cables.
