Sonic, Verano, Encore, MCE Lamdas, 2014/5 trucks and SUVs, small truck, Vette, LaCrosse, Regal, impala, ATS, CTS, XTS and Volt. Probably some more I've forgotten also.
Last I checked the Mustang got a revamp more recently than the Camaro.
The Caddy platforms are pricy. Better of late, but still pricy. They will underpin many new cars from Camaro to Holden.
A couple of the Buicks are nice, and the Caddy's are top notch.
However, the real vehicles that need to carry the weight and make money for the company are less than stellar. That's GM's problem. They want to spend all the money on the niche products that will pull in a few sales, and neglect the ones that are needed to make money for the company.
Take the '14 Silverado like I mentioned above. It barely equals the competition!
The Volt? Please, they're practically giving them away with rebates! And you can buy a Ford Fusion Energi with more space, better all-around car, slightly less range, for just a tad more. The Volt? Oh, it only seats 4 people!
The Lambdas? Seriously? Compare one of them to an Explorer or a Ford Flex. I'll even offer our 5 year old, 65k mile Ford Flex for comparison. The Ford interior trumps the Lambdas hands-down.
The Camaro and Mustang both got revamps for '13 (or was the Camaro '14?).
GM doesn't have a small truck, yet. It's coming...
The Vette? OK, yeah, it's a nice car, but again, a niche product that doesn't keep the lights on.
And just selling lots of vehicles doesn't cover it. You have to make money, not discount them to the point of giving them away just to keep the lines moving. You have to make money on it or it doesn't count!
