- Few John Deere's and one Ford 3600 diesel.
Look at what they are doing. Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles can see its not going to work. Like was mentioned before the New 2014 Silverado has finally got on par "almost" with 2011 F150. They did nothing exciting to win over customers like Ford did with the Eco Boost and Dodge did with Coil Springs and 8 speed tranny.
GM had a chance to burry the competition but chose the safe route once again. Try something innovative like a 2 speed rear end, air bag suspension, ect. Always 5 years behind.
The flock will drink the Kool Aid and settle for the 4th best 1/2 ton currently on the market but they wont win over new customers with that truck if its the best they can do.

The one thing that REALLY turned me off with the new GM trucks was the price. Holy Smokes! I couldn't believe my eyes. I went to my local GMC dealership to see them up close and in person one night so I could judge fairly, rather then just going by what I read or heard. They had a 2013 GMC Z71 4x4 SLT that was pretty well loaded up (didn't see a sun roof, dvd player, or navigation) and it stickered for $46,xxx. I walked two steps to a 2014 GMC SLT 2wd and I thought my eyes were deceiving me....$46,000!! No way hoss. I can buy a regular cab 2013 4x4 base 2500 HD with power windows and locks AND a Duramax for $44,000(sticker). I know there have been some who have tried to explain the prices and claim they are on par with the competition but I swear I don't see it when I look. I can get a crew cab FX4 WITH a sunroof for a couple thousand LESS then a 2014 SLT 2wd. I saw it with my own eyes.
