Thanks for the thought but, I contacted them and the web estimator is about right for the Left coast ... right at $900. She said I'd only save about $90 if shipped to a business with forklift capability.

Well sorry. Tried to help. I know for me what the estimator gave me and what I was charged was about $200 difference. Good luck and post some follow ups when you get it.

Have been running one for about 6 months now and only wish I had a little more HP @ the PTO but other than that it's been working well.

THe only problems I have had to-date is that I had to change out the belt on the feed drive and recently bent & twisted the lower arms for the 3PH. I have a lot of rough ground and am guessing that I took 1 bump too many which caused the twist & bend.

Just finishing up today making a new set out of 1/2" steel.

Sounds like a great price. Especially, for people near Indiana (Homier) - not that it matters for my situation since the "deal is done". If all goes well with China Best Products, then costwise I"ll have been better off - since the $1565 includes spare blades and belts and the shipping from Indiana to California has to exceed the difference ($266 less the cost of spare parts).

These folks advertise Chinese tractors and implements and have a good price on the Jinma 6" chipper but I could find no past experiences doing a search here at TBN. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

If they are selling the Jinman, or same one under another name, not sure it really matters. If you can go there and pick it up, not much risk involved. If you are looking for them to ship it to them and have questions about the stability of the business, you can check with the Chamber of Commerce or Better Bus B. Otherwise, there are retailers all over the country that are selling this as Jinman, Farm Pro, Farm Boss, etc. I'm not sure how much more exhaustive this thread can be on the subject. Some really good posts in here about other folks and their purchases. Good luck.

I didn't know Jinman made Chippers. Perhaps you mean Jimna.

Slippy, (belated) thanks for the attempt to help previously with the Homier thing. I did do my homework re: BBB, etc with the company I noted. No luck. They do have a corp license according to the Sec'y of State, but that's it. I thought i had read a ref to that company before but couldn't find it via a search, thus my plee. Thanks again though.
