Still waiting on my Northern Tool for my solar charger... maybe Easter... soon it will be 6 weeks and when I ordered they said 1 week and plenty of time for Christmas.

Now I remember why I seldom mail order... both items that got me to mail order... the other the Harbor Freight LED light is also on indefinite back order... stocking stuffers you know.

I told a friend that it cost me $2400. to change oil in my PU!!
I did buy, or, ah, Santa brought me the longer version.
It is 15" longer, it's hard to put X-cab PU on regular length lifts.

My crewcab short bed SD fits on my hoist just fine. Even have room to use the air jacks on each axle.

A 4 Post, 8000 lb lift and a 2000 lb rated forklift.

Awesome gift Stimw! Will you have to cut the floor and put in high strength concrete pilings? Or is the lift safe as you have it now?

Not sure what capacity his lift is? In the case of mine, it's a 12K lb lift. So the four legs are sharing a max of 12K plus the weight of the lift which might be 2K. 14K lbs on four pads, 1 sq ft each. So it doesn't exert any more stress on the concrete floor than a 14K lb four wheeled vehicle would.

This is also why four post lifts such as his can be portable. If you look at his pic you see the four wheel assemblies laying on the treads.

My building has wire in the entire slab so it will be OK.
It is an 8000 lb lift and it came with the casters that you pin on then let the empty lift down and the weight cantilevers the posts up so it can be rolled around.
I didn't really need a lift but I had some old rusty money and was afraid it would go bad!
My tractor with FEL is under 5000 lbs so I can/have lifted it up and checked underneath. It will be great for oil changes too.
That forklift weighs 5000 lbs and I sold my last one 3 months ago that weighed 8800 lbs.

The thickness of your concrete will determine it's ability to withstand load, not the reinforcement. And if by wire you mean wire mesh, it doesn't do much of anything.

Got out of that consumerism decades ago.

Bought one gift last year. A bench vice for my lady friends house, since the seller took the vice off the bench with him. Sucks trying to do certain things there without one. lol

You're one of the biggest consumers I know here. Just look at your lengthy "tractor" list......

They are commercial tools that can (probably) all be sold at a Profit. Can't say that for your breadmaker, new phone or flat screen TV! I never spent a nickle on any recreational stuff either.
