Thanks for the complements all, I really appreciate them. I keep walking around it and still can't believe it is finished.

For my next project - there are about 7 of them, if they get creatively interesting, or when I need some ideas, there will be another thread.
Thanks again.

Oh this is interesting: I just found my December 2010 picture when I laid out the circle. Here it is next to the December 2012 finished drive.

Looks great Don, ya did good and your compass rose is as true as can be.

I think it needs a couple of stone arches built over it

Dave 1949, A porte-cochere is a consideration.

Pacerron, I can't wait till I can see the updated satellite pictures in a few years to see the compass rose from space.

Another never before seen project picture. The pavers were delivered in August 2009 with a small problem.
Here is a tractor to the rescue picture when the 18 wheeler delivering the pavers got stuck in the field sand trying to turn around. It was one of those 100˚+ days that I wish I had a bigger A/C cab tractor. We ended up disconnecting the trailer, pulled him out, hooking up again and then sending him on his way.

Ron,
What satellite website is this from?
hugs, Brandi
Brandi,
This is Google Earth. They have done a 2012 update in most areas.
Bing is usually clearer and closer but they haven't updated over Don's for awhile and they only have
rotation in one view.
Does your new pond show up yet? I haven't checked for awhile.

Whipper got all excited this evening. She alerted us to a vehicle approaching, which just might be the first visitor on the new circle express way.

And.... Yes!

The visitor actually used the driveway!

The "First Users Title" goes to our own TBN member Ron Hall. Ron and Betty drove down from Michigan for the prestigious title.

Welcome to Texas.:cowboy:

Well, it figures that a non-resident legal alien would be the first to park on the driveway. He was your day-laborer for a large part of it.;)
