It is one of several water management districts in Florida, along with Saint Johns River WMD, Santa Fe River WMD, North Florida WMD, and South Florida WMD. They all have a huge amount of power, but what exactly they have the power to do beyond fine you $10,000 per day per violation I don't know.

The land is mine. Have letter from state saying so that was sent to lakes management
Many lies on the permits and plans lakes management used to get permits from swiftmud. They tend not to like that
Swiftmud is at least at this point in agreement with me
If they want the land I will lawyer up on their dime not mine
Sandbags have been removed and the area posted with a trail camera
Anyone trespassing will be charged

I hope all works out for you. We were misled by government officials. All was well they said and produced documents saying so. It was our land also.

Well they got our email today that pointed out false information that was used and we have a meeting next Tuesday to hopefully get the permit closed for good
Till then the permit is good and lakes management could start work but based on all the facts I sent them that proves ownership I was directed to make sure my posted signs were up
If they show up then call the law and have them removed
