I guess as long as your viewpoint isn't:

DIRT-SKY-DIRT-SKY-DIRT-SKY-DIRT

you're doing OK /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Re: CK20 Ag vs R4 and FEL \'float\'?

While I believe the Ag's would offer slightly better traction, I also think they (the front tires) would flatten out quite a bit with a heavy load in the bucket. I have had some very heavy loads in my bucket and the R4's will bulge a little, but still take it. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I attribute that to their thicker sidewall.

Re: CK20 Ag vs R4 and FEL \'float\'?

Hey Congratulations on choosing Kioti. I just picked up my CK20, hst, tlb on Wednesday---w/R4's. I have a couple machines with Ag tires and they destroy nice lawns. I didnt see anyone mention this so Im going to throw it out there---if you plan on doing any work for other people---get the R4's. They will give you better all around traction, and not destroy a friend/customers yard. You can sneak across grass (w/Ag's) if you go in a straight line with little turf damage, but if you cut the wheel, forget it. If you think it will stay home and you will not ever need to worry about your own lawns appearance, then Id say go 4 the Ag's and let 'er rip! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: CK20 Ag vs R4 and FEL \'float\'?

I have the CK20 with Ag's for the simple reason I'm not on my lawn and that most of if not all my work is done in the woods and the mud. When I was trying out the tractors (CK20, TC24DA and B7610) at my place I put them through a lot of places I would be using the tractor and there were some places that were slightly uphill and muddy and the R4's seem to let the tractor slip and slide around which I was not comfortable with, so I went with R1's. (The demo's each had a FEL and I put my tiller on the back for weight.) Hope this gives another perspective. Good luck on your decision.

Re: CK20 Ag vs R4 and FEL \'float\'?

O.K. , I know this is probably way too late, but I too went thru the same decision, Ag's or R4's when I bought my CK20 ST. I got the R4's. The AG's will give you better traction, but are narrower and taller and rocks and other sharp objects will tear up the "cleats"and work well for farm land and other low traction areas. I got the R4's as a good around use tire, more stable (side to side) on side hills and when using the FEL, good floatation and resist punchers better. It does increase the rear tread width to about 54" though (side wall to side wall) and you lose about an inch and a half of ground clearance. They were $181.00 option.
