"How many time did you let your glow plugs cycle for before starting. I have a 2610 aswell and have not started in a couple weeks I will probably have to plug it in for a couple hours".
If it's around 20'F or less, I cycle the glow plugs twice. Above 20'F or so, once. You'll hear when it would like two cycles. The double cycle just keeps the engine from clattering a good bit for the first 15 seconds and a faster ignition of the fuel.
The Power Service, white bottle, has worked good for me in the Winter and the Rotella T6 5w-40 oil, use year-round, makes engine cranking easier. I usually put the additive into the five gallon container first and then fill with diesel. Gives it a good mixing. Happy to hear your up and running. Cold temps hanging around but at least not as much snow.
