Have you considered Pat's Easy Change? It beats the heck out of the extendable lower links. Works with a box blade and a rotary cutter too. Best part is you can buy them from Muhammad and support TBN.

When I get a few more implements and don't have to lug everything back and forth I'll probably go that route. I don't put the RC on all that often, mostly keep the BB on there for most of what I do. I was hoping my wit and wisdom helped support the site. OK, my wit, OK maybe just being here. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

For me, my choice in a coming purchase is between the B3030 and TC30. Sitting on both, the B3030 offers more in the way of conveinence features and ergonomics. The TC30 appears extremely basic in the sense of a command center. Though the purchase incentives for the TC30 are better, 0% up to 60 months. the B3030 is favoring my choice in the closing hours, even if it is 4.99% up to 60, 0% on 36 months. I see lots of TC30's in my area (only two dealers), no B3030's on the lots at either Kubota dealer.

Your review has been very beneficial to me and my first tractor purchase. Everyone thinks I am crazy to spend this kind of money on a tractor for 5 acres of pasture and 4 acres of mowable lawn, when I just purchased an eXmark LXS 72". I mowed the pasture once with the exmark on the highest setting and it was very slow going and rough, not meant for that at all.

With the FEL, 60" rotary cutter, 84" blade, I will find plenty of new things to do around the property.

Thanks again for your assistance.

bmkr94 . . . you don't have your profile filled out so we don't know your climate and can't guess on the soil conditions, filling out some information might help a bit if you want more specific advice. Generally the B3030 is considered a deluxe fully featured tractor, the TC30 is an old style basic tractor. You will find a lot of fans of the TC30 but it is what it is. The B3030 has many more creature comforts and a far more advanced transmission if you compare gear models, if comparing HST models they both would be similar from that standpoint. The B3030 is going to give you better ergonomic design for the operator platform, extendable lower links, folding ROPS, suspension seat (don't under-rate that feature if you ground is bumpy) and all comes standard, most are options on the TC30. New Holland has a more advanced unit in the TC29DA, it would offer a feature set that compares with the B3030 and offers a superior loader, but would also probably be more expensive. NH may have a good finance deal going on the TC29 also. It is a great tractor, far more advanced than the TC30.

Considered most of the above and settled for the DX33 Hydro with LX 114 FEL and Woods 72" RMM. Ended up going with the dealer I trusted the most and still somewhat local - may have paid a little more but I am happy. Thanks to all on these forums for all the great information and connections.
