Loader CK35 Loader Problem

I backdrag all the time.
Haven't bent or broken anything yet.
Backdragging in float mode never worked for me. All it does is float over the humps/bumps I'm wanting to knock off.

It is all about common sense, I have back dragged with the loader not in float too. You just have to watch what you are doing and not tear stuff up. But many times I am just smoothing materiel and in float is the way to do it a lot of the time.

I think that if you always keep the bucket blade in front of the pivot point you shouldn't have issues. Back dragging with the blade completely curled under is just asking for trouble. My 2 cents worth.

Weld you some stops in place just before the cyls hit the boom.

I have moved mountains of dirt and stone with my CK27 and thankfully no issues yet. When going for a flat surface, float position just doesn't work. You need down pressure to level off the bumps and fill in low spots.... Especially when the dirt is heavy and packed. Now. I certainly keep the bucket fairly level and use the back end of the bucket to do all the work.....i can see how tilting the bucket forward and using the cutting edge in reverse could do some serious damage.

Yup! I'm going to keep it pretty level and then I'll use the blower if I pile snow.. don't need to back drag much with the blower.. shouldn't anyways.
