Ya got an e-bay link for those ?
The one I picked up is the Clamp on loader skid Tractor pallet fork chain (360311204113) there the 4000# rated ones . The other one (270601213710) is for 3500# rated for a little cheaper. The price diff. is not enough to go with the lighter ones.

Just picked up a set of Clamp on forks from a sm. dealer who said he paid $190 off of E-bay and asked $225 for them. (Clamp on Loader Bucket Skid Tractor Pallet Fork chain Get fast shipping and excellent service. 4000# CAPACITY. FREE SHIPPING!)
I looked them up when I back and found that you can get them for $169.00.:mur:( Everyone , needs to make the cash) I've never used forks like this before and I can't wait to see what I can do with them. First thing is to load up on fence post at the end of the field. Then there is all the blackberry canes i got piled up ,and then.............. I just hope there not cheap stuff thats going to bend up the first time I use them.. They seem to be built good and heavy. I see there are alot of forks out there that are rated for alot less, for alot more money, I'll find out soon enough:thumbsup:

I have forks like yours. They work fine---until you try to lift and move a heavy, unbalanced load. Then more likely than not, those clamp-ons will twist out of line and dump your load. Better to get the ones with chain binders. Best bet if you really plan to use forks a lot is a skid steer quick attach for your FEL and a set of matching forks. Pricey but worth it if you value your time.

These forks are set up so you can use chain too , but wanted to see just what they would do without them. I used them to move 8' fence post ( 30 or so at a time)the other day and I didn't get them all lined up ,had no problems. Thats not to say next time.........The old saying "you get what you pay for"

Got the forks that I ordered today. The FedEx man came while I was at work and he was nice enough to leave them right by the tractor out of the rain.

Here's what I ordered. Medium Duty Tractor Forks, Bucket Forks, Loader Forks

I didn't do anything with them except unwrap them and put them on the bucket. The quality seems to be really good and I like the design of the clamp which is supposed to prevent any bucket damage. Here are some pics.

Tin,

What is the opinion on these so far? Reason I ask is I just ordered the LD set from them with the stabilizer bar, lots more money than the ebay models but look well built to me especially the large pads on the mounting screws.

I plan on building a few frames made of sucker rod to stack my firewood on so I can bring in a large quantity at a time into the shop with the tractor.

I haven't had too much work for them so far. I put a pallet on the forks and drove the trash and recycling to the end of the road which I usually use the truck for. My main use will be moving logs to be cut up, but it's too wet already to get back into the forest. I will be unloading about 500lbs of tile on pallets that we ordered next week or the week after, I will snap some pics and post an update then.
