And to everyone that read about our pending adoption... the baby (Reagan) is in state custody and was removed from her previous foster home (for reasons they will not say, we suspect drug use) and placed in ours! We are now her foster parents and will have the option to adopt in 6 months. Last Monday we were given a two hour notice that she was on her way to our house! We thought this process was going to take a year or more so this is a relief.

Thanks for all of the kind words everyone. Our son and new daughter are doing great. She has adjusted just fine and everything is going well.

The house is a little behind. The first framing crew was nothing but trouble and a different crew is finishing up. The shingles should all be on today and the framers just need another day or two to finish up.

Wow it has been a few months since I posted! Things are slowly progressing on the house. Drywall is complete and carpenter will be finished within two weeks. Brick is up and we are waiting on decent weather to pour porches, sidewalks, and approach. After concrete, the exterior rock will go on.

I got a pretty nice Christmas present... I traded in my loyal BX2350 on a new BX25D. It's basically the same tractor but comes with a factory frame-mounted backhoe. The backhoe comes off and I can install 3-point arms when needed.
