so that's what it is, you don't have to go through a host site now, just go through the manage attachment under additional options and click manage attachments, then click browse from the upload file from computor box, it does it all by itself now, no more changing the file size to go through like before.

still trying, which code am I supposed to be using? IMG thumb or html thumb or what? my thumbs keep redirecting back to the photobucket site instead of just expanding the picture.

I was having the same problem with photobucket directing clicks to my album instead of the picture only. There is a new check box under your photobucket "account options" that needs to be un-checked. Here's the instruction from a photobucket forum

Hi everyone,

We're pleased to announce today that there has been a change made to the way the thumbnail codes work.

If you go into your 'account options' inside your account, you will see a tickbox option titled, 'Images Link Back To Album'.

If the option is selected, your thumbnails, when clicked on, will open to the album page view.

If the option is NOT selected, your thumbnails when clicked on will open to the full size image. This is what thumbnails used to work like.

I was having the same problem with photobucket directing clicks to my album instead of the picture only. There is a new check box under your photobucket "account options" that needs to be un-checked. Here's the instruction from a photobucket forum

I changed my setting to the original thumbnail opening by unchecking that box, but I checked and noticed the photos I posted in other threads still open up to the album. Will those change or do I need to repost them?
I'm going to do a test here to see if the image opens to the album or to the photo only.



OK, I see that this one opens to the photo only. By clicking the question mark after that link, I read where unchecking the box will not affect previously posted photos. Is there any way to do that? ... to have the previously posted photos open to the photo and not the album?

I doubt it, it's a string of text in whatever forum or online place you posted that link to. The only possible way would be if Photobucket made their site redirect those links to open the images alone instead of in an album.

All my pictures are on my hard drive so I just post them directly from the drive, since now they re-size automatically by themselves just seems easier now.

I have to use Photobucket for other forums that you can't download photos from your computer. Plus, several years ago TBN had links and no thumbnails like they do now.
