Kubota Tractor Loader L3560 HST+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 3,700 pounds bare tractor, 5,400 pounds operating weight, 37 horsepower
I received my 60" CMP Three Point Hitch Mount Dethatcher today, one week after it was ordered.

Price $269, including UPS shipping to my door, in a single carton.

Photo #1 Packaged components, out of the carton.

Photo #2 Components removed from packaging. (Two 7/16" tools and two 9/16" tools needed for assembly.)

Photo #3 Two sheets of clear assembly directions. Zoom in, you can read them.

Photo #4 Detail of tine assembly to tine bar (1/2). Twenty-four tines total, twelve per tine bar. Correct assembly of tines to tine bars took about ninety minutes. (A third arm would have been useful.)

Photo #5 Tine assemblies completed.

Photo #6 Two tine bars joined, main frame installed with draw pins, Top Link tower installed. ~Two hours total assembly time.~

Photo #7 CMP Dethatcher mounted on Three Point Hitch.

Photo #8 (center of photo) I may have to move pins in bottom of Lifting Rod brackets to lowest position to set tines of Dethatcher into the turf.

I wanted to test Dethatcher today but Gilchrist County has experienced a week of continuous rain and both the turf and soil are too wet.

I've had one for probably five years or more and have found a number of uses. It is currently attached to the rear of the 5' roto tiller in float mode to settle the soil. I even have made a handle for it to drag it around manually (which I don't recommend if you're over 20 years of age) as well as a hitch for pulling behind a garden tractor with no 3PH.
It works great for incorporating grass seed after broadcasting also. Can't say enough good things about the product at a good price point.

Edit: Yes, it even works great mounted on the 3PH.

One thing I notice is that you didn't stagger the 2 rows, did you do that on purpose? The assembly instructions say to stagger them so that the front and back tines are offset from each other, which makes sense to me.

Staggering the rows would be good.

I missed that in the directions.

Yeah, I only found out this thing existed this year, and while it seems like overall the best 3pt dethatcher i've seen, $500 gets you a variety of decent cat1 implements that all have a LOT more metal in them than this thing. I like the design but I feel like anything over $300-350 is kinda a tall ask for it. I do admit to being a bit of a cheapass..

For what it is, I do admit that 5 bills is a bit high, especially considering that the tines are poorly painted, with bare metal exposed in places. Also didn't come with lynch pins, which is pretty irritating, I had to borrow a pair from another implement until I could buy a new pair.

But, trying it out with a quick test run, it did work pretty well dethatching, so I'm happy with that.
