They look good I thought and they have a slight overstock from what I understand so they may be willing to deal. Another guy emailed me about them and he offered them $2000.00 for one and they told him to contact them again in 60 days and they may consider it.....would be mighty tempting!

Hi...

Attachment shows my Kubota L3130 with a Curtis brand "soft-sided" cab...

Has a Curtis heater... and a seperate 2-speed ~8" fan inside the cab...

Finally got myself outta the cold 'n wet snow !
25 and wet snow outside... 45+ and dry inside... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

The cab is a real asset in the summer heat too !

Keeps me cooler... lets me work in the rain... ...wiper on front & rear glass...

No air conditioning... ...but...
...front and rear glass windows open about 4" at their bottoms...
...the 2 soft-sided doors lift right off their hinge pins...
Put the ~8" fan on high... pointed to my upper body/head...
...and the roof keeps the hot sun off of me...
...Ahhhhhhh.... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

...much better than no cab... winter or summer...

Dave...

I built my cab and have used it since last winter. I built mine so the doors, front and back windows can come off in summer. I lined the bottom of the roof with Reflectix foil lined bubble wrap. Kept warm in the winter with no condensation and helps keep cool in summer. Also built the heater and never have to run past the lowest speed.

That looks awesome. Great picture of a great rig. John

I don't know how hot your climate is, but where I am in NW Louisiana I need to run the A/C even on very mild days due to the tremendous heat gain from all the glass. The side and back windows on my Kubota L5030 Cab can only be opened a few inches, and I don't want to operate with the doors open. I like my cab and would not want to be without it; however, I do sometimes feel disconnected from the great outdoors.

Feeling disconnected from the outdoors when doing tractor work doesn't bother me at all. For me, the equation works out like this:

tractor + outdoors = (hornets + dust + flies + thorny branches) * (no problem because I have a cab).

Here in NW Missouri the summers are pretty warm and humid. I don't do a lot of brush cutting so a cab w/air in the summer is not that big of an issue. My main concern is in the winter and plowing snow, especially at night. I guess getting older and tired of wearing enough clothes to render me motionless seems to be much less appealing than a nice warm cab......but then it will probably quit snowing when I buy one!

Hey, that would be great! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

One way or another, you're going to get the snow to go away, right? Might as well not have it show up at all. And you'll have your cab so that you can go for little cold weather joy rides over the hills and dales! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Gary,

No snow would be like ......oh I can't even imagine /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif, especially if I had a warm toasty cab.....I would have to move to Wisconsin! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I have been lurking and not posting so you don't know me, but here is a picture of my 5030HSTC with a cab and all options. AC, heat, rear defog, wipers front and rear, swing out quarter windows, am-fm cd weatherband radio, work lights front and rear....oh, I forgot window washers front and rear too.
