Kubota L5240
I've been reading through threads on sickle bar mowers, but can't find my answer. Can anyone tell me if a Ford 501 will connect without modifications to my 2007 Kubota L5240? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer me.

Define "connect" please

I am working at a disadvantage here, cuz I'm still not sure what you're askin'. You "connect" a sickle mower like that in 3 places;
1. mechanical - lower lift arms (cat 1 or cat 2)
2. mechanical - PTO shaft (typically 1-3/8" six spline)
3. hydraulic - self-explanatory (one hose to lift, one to facilitate lowering).

So without knowing your definition of "connect" I have to ask:
a. Is the Kubota your first tractor?
b. Do you have a 501? or are you contemplating buying one?
c. does the 501 in question have a standard 6-spline PTO shaft?
c. does your Kubota have at least one pair of hydraulic remotes?
