Thanks George 2615...........the Canadian version of TSC store in Sault Ste Marie Canada , doesn't carry but your link shows the American TSC in Sault Michigan does so next time I am across the river (maybe getting 20 gallons of gas for truck ) I will check out their store ...thanks everyone.

Don't know how your setup will be configured, but you may need a hose with swivel on one end.

TSC usually has swivel fittings available for the hoses in stock if needed.

Dave, I don't know the name of the clamps, but I get them in bulk from my local industrial hydraulic supply. I think they're quite common. For your clear braided hose you need #13 for 1/4ID , #14 for 5/16ID and #15 for 3/8ID.

I'll look in my Acklands Grainger catalog tomorrow unless someone else knows what they're called.

Those are called oetiker clamps, and you can buy them on Amazon, ebay, etc. Google oetiker clamps and you will see lots of suppliers.

Why not buy a 25' premade hose from TSC and cut 2-3' off one end. Then get a hose barb to connect one end of the 2' hose to the compressor and the other end or female end of 2 foot hose get a quick disconnect adapter to hook to the reel input. The get another end for the 23' hose and you have a spare hose.

I wouldn't waste my money on a high pressure hydraulic hose for a 100# air compressor.

You can get 3' hoses from Northern Tool. I just picked up 2 today for a very similar reason. 3/8" rubber hose with 1/4" MPT fittings on each end $12/ea Add a union or standard pneumatic hose connectors to make it work. If you don't have one locally, you can buy online. Shouldn't be that hard to find...
