Couldn't the same be said for cinder block, except I assume the fake concrete logs would go over a wood frame?

This is what comes up when you do a web search. Everlog does not disclose its price online, you have to call them. Yes...i would not spend that kind of money either !!!

Feb 17, 2020 — Our EverLog wall package price is comparable to quality handcrafted wood logs. Package prices generally range between $100 – $120 per square ...

You know...if someone was really smart they could make a log mold. It just doesn't seem that difficult to do. Then call your local cement company to come out and fill it.
Now you have cement "logs" at 10% that price!

Total bait and switch. Siding doesn't look like logs and leading chick pic isn't even IN the video.
Same woman in the whole video. Just bundled up in the first part (which was all I could tolerate watching). Skipped around to check, I guess it warmed up at the later part of the video.

Same couple referenced in the link posted earlier are insulating between rooms. Is this some new building trend? I could see in a motel or maybe you had a home studio but outside that seems like a waste. I could be wrong.

I was just watching Lumnah Acres latest and I like that spray foam they did. I HATE fiberglass insulation. I get itchy just typing about it.

I considered insulating interior walls in our house but did not. My only regret in our build is that I did not.

I think the material of choice is rockwool.

If the point is to cover the exterior of stick frame construction with cement hardieboard makes more sense. I built a shed (10x15) about 1986 using T11. It was a pain to paint, required repainting and the wood started to decay. So I repurposed the T11 and put up hardieboard about 2000. Easy to paint, haven't had to repaint in 20 years. Looks as good or bad as the day it was installed.

Placing Rockwool insulation in all interior walls and using solid core interior doors will make a very quiet house.

Rockwool insulation was put in the walls of my tin shed when they finished off the interior. When the crew hung the last piece, it sure got quiet in there.

I did selective walls for insulation... Around the bathrooms but I really wished I did ALL the walls... Yes, I recommend you doing it... if you have company that snore or think they are quite during sex!
