That was last week. Wife saw it on the car in the driveway from the kitchen window.

I have large hands, so that's an 8" mantis..... :laughing:

Sometimes, when things go just right, it takes great pictures.

That mantis was on the smaller side, at about 3.5 inches body length. Honestly, we've had them 5-6 inches many times.

Yesterday I noted a mother Harry woodpecker out with her daughter, showing her how to forage. Sorry I couldn't get a good photo of them. This was of course shot through a screen but the one on the right was larger and the mom.
