The operator's manual for my new L3400DT shows the lug nut torques as 160 ft-lbs for the front and 100 ft-lbs for the rear. Is this an error? The front nuts are smaller than the rear; why would they have higher settings?

WSM for the L2900-L3300-L3600-L4200 calls for all, Front 100 ft-lbs. Rear 160 ft-lbs /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. KennyV.
PS. Welcome to TBN, as a rule some pretty good folks around this site /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif…

Coda -

I'd say that's a typo all right - according to my manual, the wheel nut torque for all Grand L 30's is 100 front, 160 rear. The 3400 is probably the same.

Good call, and welcome to TBN!
