Corriher Implement closed up?

I called Corriher Implement last week and got no answer, thought it strange but I assumed that they were on vacation. Called this week and was told that they were closed for good. Anyone know the scoop? I bought my tractor there last month.

I'm a bit curious. Thier website still working. You'd think thay shut it down if they are no longer in business.

The entire business was up for sale a year or two ago on ebay.. I dont think it sold - but they may have just decided to shut it down OR they couldnt find a buyer that qualified with NH to buy it..

just my thoughts.

I was using their pricing to price out a tractor up in NY. They had a great website with prices. Too bad

I was in Newton and I stopped by their facility today. There are a lot of tractors on the lot, but some were being loaded up. I did not know they were closed, so I called them. It seems that 5/31 was the last date that they were open for business. They had more NH tractors on the lot than any other place that I have visited. Too bad that they are closed.

I found out last week that Corriher's was closing. Mr. Corriher is 83 and in declining health and his wife passed away last year. I assume that the tractors will be re-allocated to other dealers. I don't know what they will do with in-house inventory that they own.

This, to me, is a really sad thing. I am a JD owner, and do not thusly visit this forum a lot, but as an NC resident and being raised in nearby Iredell Co., it saddens me to see this.

Stopped by last Tuesday, caught him coming out the door, said he closing the business and moving to the Fla Keys, stated NH would have it back open in 4-5 weeks.
