Do a search for "rap" and the 37th or 38th annual Grammy awards....you will eventually find many of the lyrics in the "winning" songs, lyrics that are VERY specific, and make what Kramer did seem tame. Of course what he did is not right, and the marketplace will determine how wrong or right by whether people come to see him perform or not. But if "we" as a society are going to take offense, where has the offense been for 30+ years at the garbage coming in the other direction?

How many of you are familiar with the "Death Angels" and the Zebra murders of the 70s? Probably very few, as media NEVER publicizes black on white violence to the level that it publicizes white on any-perceived-minority violence. Do a Google and read up on that one...the longest trial in CA history documented the murders, and attempted murders, of dozens of whites by an extremist group within the Nation of Islam. The investigation concluded that as may as 71 people were killed by this group...and yes, there were convictions.

Of course he'll go on talk shows. All publicity is good publicity, especially to someone whos career is faltering. If he's smart the book (written by a qhost writer) should hit the stands soon. Two weeks ago, nobody gave "Kramer" a thought, now he's in the news daily. A good agent can spin anything into a moneymaker for these clowns.

I was taught to always talk "like if my mother was in the room with me" and I would never get in trouble. Unfortunantly, there have been quite a few times when I temporarily forgot these instructions.
