When will people learn to keep the thermostat away from the chickens?

I have about 90,000. When they are small and it is cold, they use a lot of propane.

I'm surprised with that much usage Jerry that they wouldn't lock you in on price. You certainly qualify for the ag rate. Did none of the farmers in your area get locked in prices?? I don't remember ever not being able to lock in prices in the summer for a quoted amount.

There are no locked in prices for at least 75 miles of where I live. This is the first time that this has ever happened.

That, unfortunately, is who I have now since they bought/merged with Agway. I asked to price lock and they said that they don't do that /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif. Gerard

I've always had Suburban. If you had Agway and they switched you I wonder if their giving you the snow job. I would think somewhere somebody could help you out

I stopped to put some fuel in the Excursion today and noticed that the station refilled RV propane tanks. So I asked about the price. They charge 50 cents a pound, so about $2.10 a gallon. So, why on earth is 100 gallons delivered to my house, a buck more? Just doesn't make any sense.

The Suburban dealer around here does not have a very good reputation in terms of customer service. And that has been my personal experience.
