It sounds to me that you are going to make a nut retainer of some sort and install it on the loader frame. While you are at it, use high strength Loctite on those bolts so you won't have to retighten them too often.

Sounds like a stick welder and a single 1/8 6011 electrode will solve your problems for a loooong time..

Service manager just got done explaining to me that new Holland is unaware of any issues with tightening bolts on the loader regardless of cab or open station, the funny thing was as he was explaining the procedure to me he was sort of laughing knowing how hard to almost impossible it would be. This is just one more thing in my little black book against new Holland . I know the dealer can do it for me but that's not the point when you ask a question to a manufacturer you should get a little more response than just tighten the customers bolts and don't make problems, what am I going to do when it's out of warranty pay them to tighten it for me, that'll be the day I keep a tractor that I cannot tighten bolts on a loader. Now I don't want to come off as one of these people who secretly planning to go buy another bigger tractor and justifying it by a few problems, because the truth is I love the tractor it's the perfect size to power that I needed and my dealer has the nicest folks you'd ever want to work with, I just hope someday he sell orange or green :). I really think new Holland should start to reach out to the customer base or perhaps put better representation in the field rather than just throwing the problems on the dealer which is a very common thing I've come to learn and experience firsthand on more than three separate occasions. Well anyway tomorrow we will be putting it back together good as new and no future problems at keeping that loader tight My new Signature going to be "love the tractor hate the company" ;-).

RADIUM, If you look through the other manufactures forums you will find they have their problems also. Most a lot worse than what you have unless you have had more serious issues we dont know about. You have a good relationship with your dealer and that is verry valuable. Just remember its not a perfect world no matter what color you paint it.

Okay I didn't want to get into this but let's do it anyway. First off It Wasn't Too Bolts it was four :), I will start with the most serious problem first the day I took delivery of the new tractor it was underivable now by underivable I mean you could not feather the clutch to go forward to reverse the tractor would jump as if you drop the clutch in hard. My dealer was ready to split the tractor and see what was wrong he agreed the delivery driver didn't even want to leave the tractor there the first day, but the company representative looked it over at my farm and said I didn't know how to drive a clutch, he demonstrated how drive a clutch to me dropped the RPMs to nearly stall and the tractor of course wouldn't jump, I laughed and told him how do you expect me to work in the field with a load in the loader and dropping the RPMs that low will reduce the hydraulics to almost useless he just shrugged his shoulders. The next day I check it out and make sure everything was tight, I am meticulous with my equipment I don't wax & wash but I do grease it and check it for work well sure enough when I looked on the roof I found a crack in the cab, so another phone call to the dealer and there's the rep again sitting in my barnyard so he climbed on top of my tractor standing on my hood until I told him to get up on the loader and please don't walk on my hood, he said you must have hit something, now at this point the tractor was just one day old, there were no scratches in the cab's roof just a hairline crack I told him to look at the tractor with less than two hours no dirt or dust I told him it's been sitting in the yard since it was delivered I did not hit anything . Needless to say the dealer stepped in and said he would take care of it so the argument would not get any hotter he told the rep he knows me for years and I would not lie, so at that point I just told them I'll try to put some epoxy on rather than you rip apart my new tractor and if I have problems down the road with it leaking we will replace it. You see there's a common thread to this whole story I'm always making compromises, I should just tell new Holland take their piece of @@@@#$$$%% off my property and return my money. Now the best part of the story after eight months of driving the tractor I was reading through the tractor forms I found someone with the same condition where the dealer actually split the tractor in two and replaced the clutch and it was still bouncing they finally figured out it was the cab mounts were too soft. So Montana tractor issued a recall for soft mounts problem solved. I showed this to my dealer and sure enough new Holland has a recall to to change out the mounts on cab SSS models only. I wondered why I didn't get a phone call or even a little letter for my $30,000 plus investment please contact your dealer we've solved your problem we want to keep you satisfied nothing and I called every number new Holland had during the year so they knew I was there but just didn't care. So now almost a year later I finally have the tractor I can drive but possibly damage to the clutch from all the jumping which I explained to the rep you will be covering if the clutch goes out early in its life, as I drove it around the yard and dropped it in at 2000 RPM without any problems I basically gave him the finger and drove it up on my trailer and drove it home. So when I tell you I love the tractor but I hate the company you'll understand, I will keep this tractor for now, but I will never buy another new Holland product again not with that kind of manufacture attitude. Now I know this last problem I had with these loose bolts was small but it's just one more thing that's got me so pissed off that I had to solve my own problem I forgot to mention how my brother was laughing at me for using my fathers John Deere 1010 row crop 40+ years old same clutch to mow with during the summer heat not to deal with the jumping of my new air-conditioned cab super-sweet tractor.

Now that we know" the rest of the story" (I will miss Paul Harvy) you feelings are more understandable. I probably would have told the rep to get off my property before I threw him off after climbing on my hood and saying I hit somthing. I would write a letter to NH about your rep's attitude.

At this point.. I can see you will never be happy.

sell it and start the entire process over with another color... good luck.. and remember.. everything you experienced.. has a 100% chance of happening with EVERY color on the market.
