Country Mfg 2 Ton Wagon

I am seriously considering adding one of these Country Manufacturing 2 Ton Wagons to my herd.
Utility Dump Wagons & Trailers for ATV, lawn and garden by CMI.

They say they accept a standard agriculture hydraulic 24" stroke cylinder (up to 4" bore). Any suggestions for where to get this?

You should be able to find a cylinder at any farm supply store. Amazon sells them too.

If you're not an expert at backing wagons with the steering tongue I definitely recommend getting a trailer. They are much more maneuverable.

I had the 8500 several years back. If I remember right I used 3.5X24 cylinder I got that from Bailey. There was a good amount of hydraulic line to tie it all together too. A local Parker dealer had all the fittings I needed and made up the hoses. Ran it off the valve I had plumbed in for my hydraulic toplink.

It was handy. Flexed a bit with good load on it but nothing ever broke. Did wish it had a different wheel bearing/hub assembly but as they say "not for over the highway use"

I own the trailer/dump cart version (not a wagon with it's own steering) and I fully agree with the following:

I've used a 4 x 24 on mine ... like you say, they are prone to flexing if you load them up.

I've never personally broke anything on mine - and I've hauled a lot with it - but a friend I loaned it to managed to break the hinge mount ... probably by overloading it ...

It's a handy little unit if you have property and need to haul stuff around.
