I liked "Girl with a Bass Boat''' and "Mudd on the Tires"""" about a pick up truck (Brad Paisley)..... much as I love my tractors.
Tractor is a mans machine. That is why we have the "Garden Tractors" As we all know are "Lawn Mowers".... for the little woman..

Teach them that Masseys and Fords don't get stuck,
And a Kubota is way much more tough.....

I think John Deere Green was done by Joe Diffie.
Where is he now?

Old joe now sings bluegrass, does it well to. He did disappear for 10-15 years though.

It occurs to me that what most country singers know about tractors they got by driving by the dealer as they cruised down the highway in their tour bus.

Have a harder time finding country than songs about tractors. Local country station plays mostly Pop, and metal

I know even Patsy Cline, Bob Wills ect had cross-over hits, but nowadays I'd like to see the cross-over more towards the country side Then add tractors, and trains, and Momma, and the hound dog...

Nice lyrics Buckeye! Willie, Waylon, David Allen Coe and Steve Goodman would be proud! You know, now that I think of it, seat time does give you perspective and time to come up with some good lyrics to melodies!:thumbsup:

I used to write songs for Weird Al and Ray Stevens.. Not really :laughing: , but I love their songs, and I frequently make up new words for songs.
