Often a single well placed shot will go unnoticed in urban areas.
Another option would be to sting them with .22 cal CB caps. They are a very quiet load. I have shot them with a long rifle and all I heard was the click of the firing pin and the thud of the squirrel hitting the ground.
You might slip one of those in behind his shoulder and hope he bleeds out.
I wouldn't have those coyotes around, it will cost you sooner or later.
