Modern systems in the U.S. are 120/240. There are likely some old industrial areas that are 115/230. Iirc, 220/110 was the old 2 phase system that's been obsolete for 60+ years.For as precise as electrical work is I've always been surprised by the variations in voltage listings. I know three, 110V, 115V, 120V. All the same thing. Also know 220V and 240V. What the??????
Some foreign systems are 110/220 50hz so you may see some modern devices labeled that way.
