I finally got time to install the new seat on my L3700. It took a few hours and a few "field adjustments" to get it to fit. All in all, I like it. It has a small lever to recline the back that I need to bend inward because it interferes slightly with the rear PTO lever if it's engaged. And the Hydrostatic lever is up against the left side of the seat bottom when in low gear. It's certainly useable as it is.. but a little more fine tweaking and it will be as good as factory.
Crazy price on great seat!

The one on the lawnmower was short lived, the operator snagged the swing set with the seat and the bolts ripped through the sheet metal of the fender area
Next up: A piece of flat bar across underneath to bolt it to.

Did this seat have provisions for a seat switch?
Not sure what you mean by seat switch ? ..But my new one came with 2 cross members bolted to the bottom and a set of slides bolted to the cross members. .. I discarded the new slides on my install.

It has a hole for one, I adapted the switch on the Deere rider to make to fit.
