Did you spray anything on the concrete grout to keep the top surface soft while it set up, or just wait and wash it off by trial and error? It really came out great.

Thank you. It's been a crazy couple of weeks, but it looks like I'm going to make it. All I have left to do is install the ceiling fans and the gazebo will be done for the wedding. We're running to town to pick up the chairs, then it's just a matter of setting everything up today so we are ready for the wedding tomorrow.

With work and all the work needed for the ceiling, I never got around to making a form or press to bend the shingles for the onion dome. It takes 50 shingles to make it once around the dome and I needed four rows to get it covered. I can heat 5 shingles at a time, but it takes two hours. My dilemma was in how to get that many done in time. The longer I put it off, the more impossible it became. Finally this past weekend, I decided to just start cutting them to fit and getting it done. I finished yesterday.

Yeah I suppose... but I am thinking she is pretty lucky as well based on what I am seeing.... and I would guess you are even more lucky based on your effort on that temple. :saltpepper:
