JD4300
I have 4300 HST with slightly over 5000 hours on it. A few months ago I realized that when my foot is off the "go pedal', the tractor still wants to creep ahead. I first thought that it might be a bent rod or something caught in the linkage. I have crawled under it a few times now that the weather is warmer but cannot see anything wrong.
Are there any adjustments I can make so I don't have to use the FEL or implement to anchor the tractor when it is idling? I have been moving the gear selector to neutral when I use the wood splitter but then I also have to set the brakes....or dig in the FEL bucket...

If it is like my JD4200 there should be adjustment under the floorboard just behind the pedals and to the centreline.

Can't explain how to adjust it but do know you can change the reverse speed using the adjustment. Mine came apart. Kinda interesting when you only have forward/reverse with no neutral. It's even more fun trying to put it all together laying in the mud.
