Well, we can always tell when we're close to Christmas.

These fellas come down the hill and feast on the high grass, and later enjoy the crabapples in the yard. They do a bit of jousting which you can hear even after the sun goes down.

If you haven't guessed yet, they're doin' all this to get in shape for the soon upcoming "Big Flight"... Count 'em in the first pic to see if I'm lyin'!!! :p Musta' been drawn by the lights (see night picture).
[Sorry about the light reflections; these were taken through the back door and the side window!]

Yep this one was 11 pointer. We picked him up on the game camera, down near the pond, but it was normally around 4 AM every morning, heck he was standing nearly beneath the tree stand. Just glad that he made it through the bow, black power and riffle season. There is always next hear!

I didnt think a coyote could take down a deer of this size.

I'm not trying to start anything, but these pictures have been going around awhile. I've seen them attributed to friends, cousins, and neighbors everywhere from Mississippi, Texas, and now Ohio. Where ever they're from and whoever took them doesn't really matter I guess, it does teach a good lesson on predator vs. prey. I think he was injured for a while and those coyotes just took advantage.

It looks as if he has a twinkle in his eye and a smirk on his face. I think he is laughing at you!!!

He has been around for awhile, spends most of his summer eating off of us, includes garden, flowers, peaches, apples and a few raspberries. It is only fair that we get to eat off from him once! Maybe next season or road kill!!!!

predators only attack the old, sick and weak, after they run them to make them old and weak. Total BS about only old weak and sick
