CT230 Questions

Looked at a CT230 from head to toe. Lots of nice features. The joystick location is great.

1) Isn't the horsepower differance from engine to pto a bit much of a loss.

2) Since most 35hp cut's have 60" buckets, does it make sense to go to
56" on this tractor , I have brutal heavy clay
3) Do these low prices I see include the deluxe pkg, as it is called here in
Calif. My first quote was for nearly 21,000 for CT230 w/FEL before
the 3500 rebate

Waiting on mine to come in....

My dealer said that the deluxe package is no more, a discontinued option. Which was a shame because it really saved you some bucks if you wanted a mid-pto.

I had a dealer tell me the deluxe package was not being offered anymore and then I had several dealers tell me it was. I am not sure which dealers were clueless but I went with one of the dealers that offered me the deluxe package.

With the deluxe package which include mid PTO, rear remotes, deluxe seat and grill guard, I paid $12,200 after rebates.

I have had mine for just a little over a month now and I love it. It has saved my back a whole lot of wear and tear!

21k is very high. Should be in the $12K range. I just bought the CT235 and added $1000 in options and mine came to $13,250. I still have to buy the cutting edge for the bucket.

I'm in Calif. too. I ordered mine on 6-12-09 when the CT235 had the $3500 rebate & free loader... in a CASH deal. I think the CT230 may still have that same rebate available if you pay cash on delivery... along with a free loader.

He can tell you what deals are currently available. Tell him Dave from Atascadero recommended him. I didn't give tham any money down, just a credit card as a good faith. My tractor won't be here till the 1st week in August. I've purchased two tractors and a Kubota RTV from Mike. He's a good guy to work with.

I ordered my CT230 from there also on 7/1. My sales guy was Greg and he told me ETA for my tractor was some time in early to mid August. I had to put 10% down to order mine.

Before deciding on this Santa Maria dealer, I checked out 2 other Berchtold satelite stores in Bakersfiled and Los Angeles but they couldn't match Greg's offer. Also, the sales people weren't as knowledgeable either. Another plus was the FREE delivery offer to my place (100+ miles one-way), only from Santa Maria dealer.
