Curtis Cab with heater pics

Not so far... I haven't used it in the dead of winter yet, though. I only got it in early March of last year.

BTW If you do have any problem with the glass fogging there are several chemicals sold to prevent glass from fogging. We use one of the products on a large mirror in our master bathroom and it performs really well.

What would keep this from working on a BX22? Looks like it would fit inside the ROPS unit, wouldn't be able to use the backhoe but would be great for working in the snow which would be the main usage?

I am not certain, but I believe that the ROPS on the BX22/23 is of a higher design because of the backhoe. I was told by two dealers that it takes a full day to install the cab. Curtis is located in Worcester MA about 3/4 hour from here and I might go up there and discuss this with one of the engineers. I think that if there were enough requests, that they would design a cab for the BX 22/23 tractors. They did send me the installation instructions and they were quite complete with detail, but there is no way to know how long the install will take from the directions......

I asked Curtis Cab and 2 Kubota dealers about install time for a full cab on a new L3130...
Answer... ~5-6 hours for someone whose done 'em before...

Heater would be more time... same for lights and whatever else...

Bob , I ordered a Curtis soft side cab through my New HOlland dealer for the TC40D on Monday. Hopefully it should be here on Friday so I can install it over the weekend.

My folding ROPS barely clears the garage door opening (1/8" clearance). Does the Curtis cab attach to the ROPS on your Kubota? THe reason I ask is that I would like to fold the ROPS down at least while I install the cab. I worry that if I drive over a pebble my 1/8" clearance will cause me to hit the garage opening.

The soft side cab has a list price of $1495. I believe the heater was $270 and the defroster fan was $80. My dealer is taking 10% off but of course there is shipping to Minnesota so my guess it will end up being just about list price.

My wife finally got her digital camera so I will post some pictures during the installation.

No, the cab doesn't interfear with the ROPS or vice versa. But, the cab is an inch or so TALLER than the ROPS! This could be a problem for you? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
