Custom 3 point attachment 2" reciever, Weight Box, Tool Carrier/work table.

I designed a combination weight box, with 2 receiver and provisions for a workbench / tool carrier specifically to fit my newest tractor, a little Mahindra Max 28XL. I think the design is slick.
There are lots of places to buy tow bars, tool carries, and weight boxes for Ag tractors, but I have not seen a multi function combo well executed nor anything designed to sit in so tight to the tractor frame. The trailer hitch is only 6 behind the rear links.

I知 thinking this has application to just about any 3pt hitch tractor and would be interested in coordinating a group purchase.

I could make up a fill in the blank dimension sheet for people to measure and fill in for a custom fit to their tractor for a quantity group purchase.

This took some thinking to design, as there are the moving lift arms and stabilized arms to clear plus the PT0 Guard. You can稚 offer something that requires the guard be removed.

That痴 why universal stuff is made to fit behind the tractor. Also my attachment can be raised and lowered so a small sub-soiler plow or a 4 or 5 snow blade can be stuck in the hitch.
Just don稚 expect to move mountains and watch out for big rocks as 2 tube receiver is only so strong, even reinforce as in my hitch.

The only issue I see with it is that the weight (I assume) is blocking the use of a PTO shaft for any implement.
Granted you probably wouldn't need the weight on there if you had an attachment connected but how difficult would it be to remove and re-connect the weight block?

This is a QA Counter Weight. My Concrete form is designed with a shape so the concrete/scrap metal CW will easily clear clear the QA Hitch when removing the CW.
I'm interference checking everything I do.

REMOVAL INSTALLATION STEPS ARE:

1. Back up tractor so counter weight is over some wood blocking etc.

2. Lower CW with 3 Pt so it is resting on blocking.

3. remove the two Lock Pins.

4. Lower 3 Pt Hitch 2 to 3" to clear Counter Weight Support pins. Move tractor about 2 -3 inches backwards.
(Be careful not to back up too much or to fast so not to hit CW with Tractors PTO guard or Pto Shaft.)

5 Pull out the 4 pins, Put them in a safe place not to loose them.

6. Lift Hitch to clear CW, & drive away.

Process is reversed to install.

NO HEAVY LIFTING OR STRUGGLING WITH WEIGHT, TRACTOR DOES THE WORK.

Depending on how the size and much ccrap metal you add to the CW, the entire assembly will weigh between 475 to over 600 Lbs.
Removal of the CW is a nice feature when brush hogging on soft ground.

The QA is also being designed to attach a very simple adjustable Scarifier/Middle buster.

Another option for adding weight is to fill the tires. Adding to tires does not put additional load on the bearings, and it does not decrease the 3pt lifting capacity. You can easily adjust the amount of weight. It does not add interference or restrict space to hook up the PTO shaft.

Your use of iMatch type hitch is great, and much safer than standard 3pt. BTW, it is helpful to be able to see the lift pins as you back up to hook up the iMatch. Make sure you can see them.


Look at all weight options before you settle on a path forward.

Yeah, Regarding Liquid filling the tires, I figured that my grandpa's old sump pump I have is going to electrocute me so I went out and got a general purpose 1HP pump.

My Little Kubota B7200 has LF turf tires, Calcium filled tires are sure are heavy for a 30" tall x 12" wide tire
I have the Little Bota up to about 2400 Lbs with Iron on sub frame, a CW and filled tires.
So how do you "easily" add and remove weight from a filled tire?

On our new Max 28 I may load the tires if having 500- 600 lbs of CW is not enough.

The Max 28 tractor's bare weight is 1819 Lbs, Plus loader weight is 627 Lbs.

Add 50 lbs of steel I've had welded to the bucket and the 500 Lb Counter weight plus the operator the total weight is about 3,200 lbs.

Filling the tires would add about 350 lbs. more.

I will fill the tires of the new tractor once I determine if I have enough weight for ground engagement activities.

Ordered parts for next Attachement

I picked up a High Carbon Steel Plow Furrower, 11 In. x 1/4 In. along with a pair of box blade shanks to make my own Middle buster and ripper attachment.

I don't think I'll save any money building my own, but it will be more sturdy and adjustable than the inexpensive types currently sold plus it will not take up a lot of room in the barn.
Attached is the basic design.

I want to add a pair of small boxes, (maybe Ammo Boxes) for chain storage atop the concrete counter weight straddling the top link and have it designed so that the boxes are Quick Release, because I do not want to have to unbolt the boxes when I drop the Quick Release counter weight. Having to unbolt the box would defeat the purpose of the QA.

Anyone have any inexpensive way to do this, like some slick latches at a reasonable cost?

The same goes for the plastic box tool carrier shown on top of the bracket pedestals of the QA hitch. I壇 like this to be an easy on/off arrangement without bolts.

I have solutions, but they are too expensive.
