Nice. I have built few big bumpers on my trucks in the past. Now, I try to keep them as lightweight as I can. It looks like it just came off the trailer. Do you run it in any local bogs?

Yes, had just unloaded it, that picture is almost 4 years old. It was my youngest son's 4th birthday, he wanted to go for a ride in "the monster truck", so we hauled it to my parents farm, before we had our farm.

You can see the bumper a little better in this shot, and the happy birthday boy.



I don't mud bog, when I do take it out, I'm the tow truck. I've run this truck since 2003, I like to crawl around on tight trails and climb, it is the basis/inspiration for my screen name.

Edit: I found this pic of the bumper when I had it on a K5 (also diesel) that I ran for a few years, the K30 was a dually work truck during that time, until I got my F350 and the K30 was returned to its off road glory.

Yes sir, that looks like one happy little guy. I have some pictures of my two standing under one of mine (on 44's). They now have little ones of their own. We don't do any crawling, we are all mud (racing or boggin).

I'm starting a new build next week that may interest you. Late model Chevy truck body, custom chassis, 2 1/2 ton military axles on 72" tractor tires. 636 cid with a power glide and SCS transfer case. It's not mine (I'm a Ford Man) building for a friend.

You should do a thread on this. Would love to see it. I agree with everything you said. Mud and ford. My aviator is or truck. Was on 35s but those were so bad one blew. Now on brand new bias 33s that were free.

Man, a couple of those pictures bring back some memories. I was a neighbor growing up, looked up at that mountain every day. Even got to the top a few times.
