Yep, with a front mount, you are driving a on smooth flat surface when pushing.
And you can also pull it in reverse and use the rippers if needed.

Yes and with front mount, you also have down pressure, not like rear implements that are weight driven only. (Unless you step up to bigger industrial units)

A used skid steer is more bang for the buck. Used 2007 JD 317 with 1800 hours cost me $14,500. I'm looking for a used tractor of comparable HP and the prices are $5k more.
Skid steer is terrible in a bumpy pasture & good attachments are twice as expensive. Is great at digging post holes, brush hogging in the thickest stuff, clearing land, moving dirt
Tractor is far better at "farm" work like plowing an making hay. Bucket is way out front and hard to see.
If I were to only have 1 I'd get a tractor.

That tit tach is pretty awesome. And, it should be for $3k just for the ability to tilt.
If money were no object, I'd definitely have a brand new Skidsteer with all the attachments, and probably one of those uber cool telehandlers as well.
However, looking at the prices for skidsteer attachments, I'd only be able to afford one or two.
