Cutting asphalt to create a drain

Why not drill a hole or holes in the lowest spot and let it soak into the ground? You put a leak in it and it will leak.

This post was about brainstorming for options when the people you would normally hire don’t want the work. It was never about money though I don’t want to pay an exorbitant amount like the current dealer markup on a new truck.

Punching holes through for water to seep under, settle and soften the ground might not be the best approach.

I agree, it’s like knocking a hole in the bottom of your boat to let the water out, not the best approach.
