DAMAGE DUE TO REAR WHEEL SPACERS

Oh my JD, I can mount the rear wheel reversed and it gives you more width. Is that the case with Kubota as well? Obviously the directional tires would be an issue but...

It depends on which wheels you have, the welded one piece rims aren't intended to be reversed, the two-piece AG style rims are.

I have 2" front and rear and have had no problems. I did have to adjust the steering stops on the front end when the 60" MMM is mounted.

For what it's worth, I've had BXpanded's wheel spacers on the front and back of my BX24 for 2 years. I have the BH on just 20% of the time but I work this little machine pretty hard and no problems so far. Machine has 200 hours and spacers have about 125-150 hours I would guess.

I have the Brotek spacers and no problems after (maybe 50) hours so far...very stable on hillsides...great addition!

I don't want to threadjack this, but, on a tractor, there is no stability gained by widening the front wheels. The reason why many tractors have that option, are to allow for different crop widths.

I'm glad to know this, thanks.

If you say so, but I don't buy that in all cases about stability.

Maybe widening the front only (and not the rear) by an inch on both sides wouldn't help, but I will make the dumb assumption that what ever you do width wise to the rear you should do to the front on a tractor.

At least then in 4WD drive the wheels would be following the same travel lane as before without the spacers.

Another bump of an older thread to see if anyone had any problems.....
