No. The $400 is just to inspect/repair, bore and sleeve 1 cylinder. I have to bring them a stripped block. I have confirmed with a contractor at work that this shop has sleeved many diesel engines for him in Ditch Witches, backhoes, etc. I have heard nothing but good things about their operation. They have been in business a long time.

Don't see much way to trim that any more. :(

I started disassembly this afternoon. Before I started, I organized my sockets and set up a piece of OSB on saw horses to stage all of the parts. Loader mounts, 3rd function valve, hood, grill, headlights instrument panel shroud all removed. Tomorrow night, I'll work on emptying the fuel tank (almost full), and the hydraulic pump off.

I was able to get the loader dragged out of the garage and to my surprise, the 3400 was able to pick it up (minus the bucket). Big step forward. My truck is back in the garage.

Sounds good!!! Moving the FEL and getting the truck back in the garage would have been a biggie for me too. :)

Making progress. Picked up my manual last night. I'm ready to split it. I jus need some help. Mom broke her leg on Monday so dad wasn't able to assist today. I need to pick up the crane and aim for next Saturday to split it.

It was a bit intimidating. I place bolts right back where they came from, marked parts with a sharpie to show their position (up, down, left side of tractor, right side of tractor). I have surprisingly few parts laying around.
