How so? The machine IS a BX25D, which is what the dealer advertised. They didn't claim it was the newest version, let him inspect it, and showed him the operator's manual when questioned about the model name.

The OP wanted the newest version of a D, but didn't understand the obvious differences, like the brake pedal on the other side...unfortunately, that's on him.

I agree

Some people just dont get it that it IS a D. There can be no suing. The label says its a D. No fraud. No way no how.

Obviously Kubota believes that the improvements to the machine are superficial and dont warrant a new designation for the tractor, and I agree. The loader has had a slight improvement and is now an "A" version.

Maybe Kubota should have called it a BX25 E?

Anytime a model runs for several years, there are always changes. Slight styling changes, functional changes, etc. Most times the consumer is totally unaware.

Look at the L3400 for example. At some point in time they changed the suction hose to a new one that dont crack. Does that mean that if I bought a used L3400 from a deere dealer and my hose cracked 2-months later I could fault deere cause they didnt know?

How many times did they change the 3PH valve in the 3400?

Somewhere in their they came out with the "extra" power engine that add a HP or so.

None of these are changes that kubota felt they needed to create a new model number for. As is with the BX25.

If you want the newest an latest, should have bought new from a kubota dealer. The revisions they made to the BX25 (or BX25d) must have not been major enough for you to notice when you drove hundreds of miles and shelled out the money.

That probably would have been a good thing!

I guess the question becomes when does a D become an E? All the changes on the most current BX25D are just superficial and likely dont warrant a new designation IMHO.

I dont know what the changes were, as I am not up on the BX's. But "all" of these changes on the latest model, where they all done at the same time?? And if not, what would you call all the models inbetween that had some of the revisions but not all of them?

Kubota changes the non-TLB tractor numbers more often: BX2350---2360---2370. Why not the letter on the BX25?

Amazing. Someone else that's sue happy.

He went to look at it prior to purchase. That's pretty much the end of that discussion.

Agreed!!!

On the latest model, there are no major changes compared to the "old" BX25 AFAIK. Just the delux seat, moving the parking lock, new dash with tach maybe a few other little things. All these came at the same time along with the revised loader.

Incremental changes are hard to identify.. Maybe a BX25D[SUP]1[/SUP]/[SUb]2[/SUb] :D

Somewhere in their they came out with the "extra" power engine that add a HP or so.

Mine was one of those.. it had a little tiny decal that said "extra power".. no mention of it in the owners manual.
Supposed to have been 1 extra horsepower. I think all of the 3700SU models were also "extra power"

I would agree, the OP does not have a leg to stand on. I put the blame 100% on him. if there needs to be any blame at all. He HAS a bx25D!
