I'm not arguing any of this.
I was pointing out that Kubota themselves considers the BX25D a new and different model - an offering in the new 70 series. This is in response to those saying that these are NOT two different model/machines, just some minor updates to the same model.
There is a BX25 and there is a BX25D, and as you say, folks are going to have to be aware of that and know what they are buying. A bunch of folks posting here or anywhere else that there are not two different models is not going to help anyone in their investigation.
There are enough significant differences in the two that, with some investigation, people should be able to figure it out easy enough.
Another way to prevent that sort of stuff is for a manufacture to differentiate the model number a little better. It would be pretty difficult for anyone, dealer or not, to advertize their used (older series) BX25 as a (latest model) BX26. This is what irks the heck out of me...
I agree with this. Last week at the dealer I was told the "D" on the side of the large decal on the machine meant it was the new model with the latest upgrades.
Kubota has made it confusing at best.....
