Buying Advice deciding between a b and l series

I went thru a similiar decision process. Started considering the B3200, then the B3300, then the L3400, and ended up with the L3700 which I now have 200 hrs on the clock. I run an 84" RFM and a 60" KK tiller with no problems. The FEL and BH is awesome. The smaller units would probably do the job but I would go with the L3700, it is a lot of tractor for the money. Mine has exceeded my expectations.

I can't remmber which thread it was ( I've read so many) but I think I remember reading that Kubota had a problem with the 2005 PTO clutches. There were several "fixes" that were put out for it. That was why I became concerned.

Some things that I read here on TBN got me concerned about what noise I heard the L2800 PTO make.
The more I think about what I will be doing with the tractor, I'm not sure I can justify a new one. I think I will keep my eyes open a little while longer to see if anything turns up.

While out looking around today I spotted and test drove a 2005 L2800 that had 162 hours on it. It had a few scratches on the hood but otherwise looked in good shape. They were asking $13,500 for it. Is that a good price?

Also while disengaging the PTO there was a clicking noise that the dealer attibuted to the over running clutch. Is that normal?

Just by coincidence I was just out this AM "learning" about Kubota's and others. Even though I am not yet at purchase point the Kubota dealer wrote up a L28W 4W/Drive HST Transmission Turf tires...List $15,890...sale $13,845
