Taxing a deer stand, not where I live! I am taxed $1.00 per acre for my land. Of course there is nothing on it but a power pole and a well.

I don't want to talk about the taxes I pay on my home in St. Louis County.

I finally figured out that I don't really own anything, I just have it all leased from the government.

I built a 6 X 8 deer stand this fall. Was a little late getting it out but shot a doe my second time in it. Hopefully I can get a nice buck someday. I just don't like to sit out in the cold anymore and my wife likes to go with me and hates the cold more than I do. It is insulated and heated. No siding on it yet but will do that this summer to protect the OSB. I put it on skids in case I decide to move it to a different spot and I could build it up by the house where the power tools are. There are a lot of nice bucks around here. I saw one last year that belonged on the cover of a magazine. My next door neighbors are some of the most well known bowhunters in the country so there are lots of food plots too. They even have wildlife biologist working for them full time.

Tell them it's a rest area for illegals **** the state would probably pay to have
cable and running water put in for ya.
