This description isn't bad, but might be overly simple. No matter what type you have and every person with diabetes is different, I do mean different so how you take care of yourself will be modestly different. The various hormones that were lost in people varies, so they care varies just the same. What I recommend is a Continuous Glucose Monitor. These tell you what your body is doing today and help you get that A1C down. Sure improved my life and mine came down to 6.4.Diabetes is a chronic condition that affects how the body processes blood sugar (glucose). There are two main types of diabetes: type 1 and type 2.
Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease in which the body's immune system attacks and destroys the cells in the pancreas that produce insulin. Insulin is a hormone that regulates blood sugar levels. In type 1 diabetes, the body cannot produce insulin, so people with this condition need to take insulin injections or use an insulin pump to manage their blood sugar levels.
Type 2 diabetes is a condition in which the body becomes resistant to insulin or does not produce enough insulin to regulate blood sugar levels.
Type 2 diabetes can often be managed through lifestyle modifications such as diet and exercise, and medications may also be prescribed to help manage blood sugar levels.
Years ago some company developed a "watch" that could read through your skin. It went into the test phase and failed to get any further.that makes sense, figure it has to contact blood somewhere to analyze it
too bad you can't test saliva to get the reading
AndCenturies ago they tasted urine for diabetes.
