Thank you Fallon!
Congrats. I regret getting the power tilt a bit when loading or unloading the tractor. But never when loading & unloading anything else, so I'm happy with it. Minor oil seepage on one of the cylinder, but haven't gotten under there to check it out (and probably tighten up a fitting).
Love how this thing tows still.
Need to weatherproof the deck here soon now that it's had a chance to dry & cure. Still figuring out what to use for that.
What do you regret about the power tilt? Is it because you have to get in or out of the tractor while tilted? If so, you can add a remote function.
For my deck I treat it with a 50/50 mix of diesel and used oil. It soaks right in and I haven't noticed the deck being slippery. Other have used linseed oil or Thompsons water seal.
On other trailers I have had, I brushed undiluted used oil on the decks. I never thought about diluting it with diesel. It was a bit thick. I will do that on this deck after it gets dried out more.
It's steep, well over double the angle of a gravity tilt. Price a bit too, but that's a fading memory at this point. What do you regret about the power tilt? Is it because you have to get in or out of the tractor while tilted? If so, you can add a remote function.
