Diamond C Tilt trailer 48HDT ?

Waiting on a quote back for a 20ft 48HDT full length deck powered tilt, really like the Diamond C now that I've seem them.

Was looking at the upgraded 3/16 fenders but found out they aren't removable.

How's the clearance at the back with the low profile and long overhang?

TMGT...Price wise there is not much difference between the 20 footer and 22 footer. Best as I remember about $150. I saw you have a B2620. 20 feet is plenty, but you never know...in the future you may want to get a larger tractor or carry an extra implement. Just stirring the pot...

I hauled my 13DEC over a mountain (in Colorado, we know what mountains are) behind my Tacoma. Had to throw it into 4wd for some of the switchback.

Way more clearance than my old 16' tilting deck or a newer Diamond C. On my 16' I drug a bit on some small hills. I went for a deckover mostly to get away from fenders & ease of loading. Ground clearance figured in there too (although it intrinsically makes for steeper/harder machine loading). I wouldn't worry to much about dragging with the low profile tilting deck unless you did a lot of off-road with it.

I'm occasionally finding my new 22' deckover to short. My l4060 with loadet & an impliment on the back fits. But an extra impliment gets tight (but doable).

I've been happy with the Diamond C so far. Only downside is it's heavy, but that's the cost of heavy duty.

Price isn't the reason for a 20ft, need the manuverability more then anything. Current trailers are 18ft 7k and 24ft 10t deckover. I really don't use the 24ft because it's too much of a pain to pull around and I rarely need the added deck space.

This trailer would replace both of my current equipment trailers so figure the 20ft would be a good size since I use the 18ft all the time.

I want a tilt deckover but the loading angle is too steep and a rollback trailer is too much $ and weight for me right now.

I plan on keeping this trailer for a long time.

I don't off road my trailers but I do end up dragging my current low pro trailer somtimes from steep approach angles in and out of areas, it's hard to tell from the pictures how much clearance and overhang there is at the back.

If it was a deckover I wouldn't have to worry about it but I need the better load angle of the low pro.

TGMT...Oh...That makes sense, and having more trailers already.

Well initial quote is 7300, thought of a few options I'd like to have so going to call and see what they'll add to the price.

Just wish I could find a picture of the trailer with the full length tilt deck.

What Rollback trailers were you looking at?

Haven't looked too seriously at them, there was one that another member here had and it looked pretty good, I'm looking for powered slide.
Not interested in the sliding axle ones I've seen.

I have the full tilt PJ (see post #3) and really like it. Deck height is only about 22" with power up and power down. Has a very low approach / loading angle. My cost 4 years ago including spare, battery, built in charging system and tax was just under 6.8K.

I looked at the PJ, nice trailers but there's some features I really liked better on the Diamond C for my uses.

What I meant in the earlier post was that I haven't been able to find a picture of a 48HTD with a full length tilt deck for some reason. Apparently the cost is the same for a full length or the split deck, the power up and down is an $850 option which isn't really bad when you think about it.
