Diamond C Tilt trailer 48HDT ?

I looked at their site and it seems Diamond C makes a full deck tilt as a car trailer model 11FBDT. That model has 2 5200 lb axles but has a GVWR of 9890 lb. All higher rated trailers seem to have a stationary section of deck.

My deckover power tilt has the box up front, but it has the hydraulic pump & battery in it. So I'd assume that it would be the same for a power tilt (non-deckover) as well. Effectively eating up that chain storage area between the deck & hitch. The spare mounts between the deck & box on mine.

Here's my H&H Speedloader. It is 22 ft. Full tilt deck.






It is covered with motor oil/diesel mix.
The deck doesn't get slick when wet but I expected it to.

It takes 35 pumps on the ram to set the rear down on level ground.
It has 5200 lb axles x 2.

I'm not sure about the balance point yet as I bought it used and it has a 10 k winch, battery and a spare tire under the front weighing the front down.

I plan on eventually moving the winch off the deck and to the front tongue area. Since the ram is occupying that space and a battery is already installed, I'll get a hydraulic power pack then. Maybe.

It is the best trailer I've had to date of about 10 through the years. One perk I like is the enclosed rear LED lights totally protected. Nice touch.

I also plan to oil mine down when the weather warms up more. George mentioned about that recipe too. I guess the diesel allows the oil to sink deeper in the wood.

Yes it will be ordered with a rub rail and the heavy duty tongue box lid like whats on Rich's

Yeah I looked through them but didn't see what I was looking for, they make it in full deck but guess it's not a real common option, or people just don't take pictures if them.

According to the dealer it would be the same as Rich's with the large tongue box that adds to the deck size so should still have some storage. I'll order without a spare mount and make a removable one for when I go out of town.
